Photo Projects
These are photography and editing projects that I have worked on. I started doing these with my old roommate and they have become a hobby. I try to create a social commentary on important issues. The ideas flow to me and I organize the concept design, photo session and then do the editing. They are an art form to me and I love creating them.

The Queens' Fab Factory
A commentary on society's ideas of perfection and the traps that we can all fall into when faced with a world that tells us that we have to be a certain way, wear certain clothes, have certain personalities and become certain types of people in order to be viewed as beautiful, successful and unique. The ideas of uniqueness that has to be processed through an assembly line in order to be deemed acceptable.
This photo was done for Craig Landry (Who we affectonately call Queen C).
Models from left to right: Tami Lomuti, Jessica May, Donnalee Phillips, Amile, Linda Wlasenko, Jennifer Jean, Tnah Atomic, Me and Rebecca Laviolette. This shot was done over the course of a day and edited within 24 hours.

Silence Is Never The Answer
A commentary on mental health and awareness. We all hold pain in our lives and being a helper does not exclude us from that. It is also a commentary on how people in helping professions are often forced to keep their mouths shut about their own struggles.

Christmas Doesn't Have To Be Expensive To Be Rich
A commentary by me and Craig Landry on how the values of the holiday season have swayed from togetherness and family to monetary spending. This shift often causes stress that is unneccary and creates feelings of isolation at a time of year when people are supposed to be coming together.

This was a fun one to create. Notice that Craig Landry is pouring Stephanie K a drink but Stephanie K and Craig Landry are actually the same person. This was the first time that I had done a shot where one person played two characters on the same photo. Because of this shooting took 4 hours and editing took about 6.

Fuck History Class ... Create The Future
A commentary by me and Craig Landry on what we are led to believe about other cultures and belief systems. We did this one after Syrian refugees started entering Canada. There was a lot of very harsh and negative messages being sent across social media which led me and Craig to create this concept.

The classroom photo was taken from the internet. The original photo was taken in my office. Below is the original shot. This photo took us about 30 minutes to shoot (finding the right angle and lighting took a while) and about 2 hours to edit.

The book that I am holding is an amazing booked called Molecules of Emotion by Dr. Candice Pert, PhD. In hindsight, in a round about way, it sort of seems fitting.
Angels Are Everywhere
Angels come into our lives in a variety of ways. They don't always come the way that we expect them to but they are always exactly what we need.
