Questions and Communications with Spirit
Volume 1: Our World
I have been a psychic-medium in professional practice for about 14 years (since I was 17 and I'm now 31). I have been asked many questions over the years in my talks, lectures, demonstrations, media appearances and by my clients. Some of them I have been able to answer from my own experiences and some I have had to ask my guides to answer because I really had no idea. I still have to say though that my favorite questions have been the ones that are impossible to answer because of their truly miraculous nature. The three questions and answers that I have listed below were some of the most complex ones and some of them are things that I had just asked spirit about myself. Please note that the answers below are only what I believe and as always only take what resonates with you. We live in a very diverse world and everyone has their own truths - which is beautiful!
What is Spirit?
Spirit is hugely referenced in mediumship, spirit communication and the paranormal. The definition in this sense is commonly accepted as the non-physical part of a living being that is an accumulation of all aspects of who they are and that after the transition of death it is the part of the person that survives death. It can be referenced in terms of an individual spirit or as a cumulative body of humanity that has passed on.
Is the 'Spirit' the same as 'the soul'? How about reincarnation?
I was asked this questions many times in my early twenties and I never knew how to answer. I believed in reincarnation but I also believed in the idea of eternal rest and the ability for our loved ones to communicate with us for the rest of our lives. When I asked my Spirit Guides to explain it to me they told me that the spirit and the soul are two different things. The soul, they told me, is the element of God that is within all things (the spark of life, if you will). The soul is what holds all aspects of Akashic memory (Akashic memory is a record of all things that ever has and ever will happen to a soul across multiple lifetimes). They explained that the spirit is built over a lifetime. It is the memories (physical/cellular, mental and emotional and spiritual/transpersonal) that the person builds over time and is their true nature in all aspects. The spirit is the holographic energy imprint of who someone is - in short it is their essence. The soul may reincarnate based on lessons that it is learning and the spirit crosses into heaven. If you can imagine the soul is like the light that projects through a transparent picture (the spirit) onto a wall (the earth plane). They are both entirely important and completely connected to each other.
We have physical genetics that dictate a lot of things about us but do we also have spiritual genetics?
This was one of the most interesting philosophical questions that has ever come my way and I had to throw it to my guides because I am not a geneticist of either type. When I asked about it this was the answer that I received:
The human condition is a layering of multiple levels of being. When we are born we are assigned physical genetics by the natural process of the physical world. These genetics create our physical body and our predispositions to certain traits within our mind and heart and are a synergy of traits from our physical family lines. Our spiritual genetics are held at the soul level and contain lessons that we are required to learn in this life as well as what we are required to teach. The spiritual genetics contain information about the process of the soul across multiple lifetimes and dimensions and incarnations as various beings. Earlier I made the reference about the soul being like a light shining through a transparency (the spirit) onto the wall (the earth plane). The spiritual genetics shine through the physical genetics to produce the transpersonal qualities of an individual. If someone had the soul lesson of being a teacher helping children to learn and to support them through their development into adults and they had the physical predisposition to being highly logical and algorithmic in their thought then perhaps they would become a math or science teacher. If someone had spiritual genetics to be a spiritual facilitator and the physical predisposition to being a very emotional person who has excellent memory or an aptitude for learning a lot through education then perhaps they would become a priest or a minister. The family that they were born into would more than likely also have a set of beliefs and experiences that would help to grow and assimilate the person's soul purpose, for example they may be born into a family that is accepting of religious beliefs or are of a nature that would make the person discover their own spiritual or religious path.
I have heard the terms Earth Angel, Starbeing and other similar terms what do they mean?
If we look at these concepts as our spiritual genetics only then we are overlooking something significant. The psychic ability profiles that come with each of these terms is usually highly developed. All people possess psychic abilities but there are some people who have these abilities naturally awakened at birth. It is also highly common that people with awakened abilities may fit into categories like Earth Angels and Starbeings have other family members who also do. Perhaps it is a synergy of the two. When I ask Spirit about this what I understand is that these qualities fit into both spiritual and physical genetics. The spiritual genetics dictate how the abilities will be used in a life path way and the physical genetics dictate the mental, emotional and physical predispositions required to assimilate the soul purpose in the physical world. The way that we choose our earthly families at a soul level has a lot to do with our spiritual genetics and their physical world requirements as well as the integration of specific experiences for the learning of our soul lessons.
How do individual soul lessons effect the world as a whole?
Our soul path can be defined as the grouping of lessons that we are meant to learn and the lessons that we are meant to teach. There are stages of these lessons and our development as people determine the rate and way that we will learn and teach what we are meant to. When we look at the questions earlier about spiritual genetics and physical genetics and the answers pointing towards a synergy of the two to create who we are we come to the conclusion that our experiences are created around us with other individuals with a complimentary soul path. Complimentary soul paths do not only mean ones that have the same lessons but also ones where opposition produces learning. The idea of soul groups can weigh in here as how people learning and teaching similar things can find their ways to each other in the physical world either in person (meeting and developing relationships) and also ethereally (energetic missions being simultaneously completed by strangers who never meet). All people belong to at least one soul group in their lifetime. A soul group is a grouping of individuals completing a common mission and these people will have very similar profiles of personality, ability, interest and experience. The types of missions on earth cover every single aspect of humanity at an energetic level within a certain timeframe and those components when brought together propagate the trends that the world experiences within that same timeline. For example during the world wars huge resolutions were made at an individual level of human nature across many countries as people experienced the different angles of war. During those times the missions diffused across the various soul groups were geared towards producing that experience and cultivating the benefits of it. Not all experiences are pleasant but all produce wisdom and contribute to the learning of soul lessons individually and globally which is never innately negative. All things are in a continuum moving towards the light and our experiences help us to transmute negativity bringing all things to divine consciousness through the integration of knowledge and experience. Each generation brings in souls that set up the world stage for the next wave of soul lessons that effect all levels of human nature moving all things towards transcendence.
While this may not answer the bigger question of the meaning of life it can help to understand how the meaning of life may move as a process through the world itself.
How does personal truth play into this?
Personal truth is the profile of individually accepted concepts through the reference points that we create with our experiences. Over time historians can see that people's personal truths also fall in line with social paradigms and cultural beliefs. We as humans are constantly in a state of resolution (interpersonally, interpersonally, culturally, energetically, biologically) and as we resolve things we move forward on the continuum of transcendence through transmutation. Things would not continue to move towards the light if all people, groups of people and experiences were homologous or unvaried because opposition is vital and catalytic in the progression and ascension of the human condition on all levels.
How does this effect each person?
Each person is a part of the whole and each person is significant to the unfolding of the world and the universe. We all hold very individual traits and qualities that are important to the timelines that we exist in physically in the physical world. Even though people can be similar in some ways our individuality is what makes all of these things work together. We are uniquely important and all we can do is be the best versions of ourselves.
